Whether you want to create a new hobby or party room or an office, the walls must be durably dry in order to turn a basement into a room where you can feel at home. This calls for reliable, highly functional waterproofing to protect the room against moisture from the surrounding soil. The most effective approach is to provide waterproofing where the wall comes into contact with water, i.e. on the exterior.
Precisely to meet this challenge, we offer three systems based on different technologies. The result is always the same –. Moisture is durably prevented from entering the building and the basement walls remain dry. Our waterproofing systems also provide protection against harmful radon gas from the soil. They also contribute to a healthy living environment.

BUILDING WATERPROOFING WITH MINERAL SLURRIES AND THICK MINERAL COATINGS
The System PCI Barraseal Turbo is based on the flexible two-component reactive waterproofing membrane PCI Barraseal Turbo. This is a fast-setting mineral-based product that can be used in a variety of applications. It is especially well-suited for complex building shapes and rapid construction progress. The system is radon-tight.
Substrate preparation:
The existing substrate must be sound and free from cavities. Old, firmly adhering bitumen coatings must be cleaned.

PCI Gisogrund 404 – Wash primer for absorbent and non-absorbent substrates

BUILDING WATERPROOFING WITH COLD-APPLIED SELF-ADHESIVE MEMBRANES
The main component of the System PCI BT 21 is the cold-applied self-adhesive waterproofing membrane PCI BT 21. This product consists of a two-layer tearproof special foil and a strongly adhesive bitumen-rubber waterproofing compound. Thanks to the use of a special primer, the system can also be applied safely at temperatures as low as -5°C. Basement waterproofing using a self-adhesive membrane is recommended for projects where large surface areas need to be covered in a limited time, as only one layer needs to be applied and it is not necessary to wait for products to dry. The System PCI BT 21 is radon-tight.

BUILDING WATERPROOFING WITH POLYMER-MODIFIED THICK BITUMINOUS COATINGS (PMBC)
The System PCI Pecimor features tried and tested thick bituminous coating technology and ensures that buildings in contact with the soil are waterproofed in accordance with the applicable standards. All the requirements faced by a PMBC waterproofing system can be met with only two waterproofing products. Both PCI Pecimor 2K and PCI Pecimor 1K can be applied easily, with little force. They have been tested by independent test institutes and resist dissolving by soft rainwater.
In addition, waterproofing with PCI Pecimor 2K is radon-tight.
